Vogue: Women in Coats, Airplane, and Arrows

I enjoyed researching new designs (to me) throughout the last couple of weeks! I definitely learned a lot about Early Modernism and will look back on this blog as a reference! The final design I will be discussing is a magazine page created by Herbert Bayer called Vogue: Women in Coats, Airplane, and Arrows. This magazine page is an example of Early Modern design because of how the photographs are arranged. In this design, Bayer makes it so that the women in coats are larger than the airplane. When I first saw this design in particular, I couldn't help but notice the way the arrows are portrayed. Some are in "waves", and others are forming a swirl-like pattern.
